story

The issue begins by looking at a Hawaiian story. It's about the legend of a shark man named Nanaue. Back in the modern setting, Superboy is having fun on the beach. He and his brother's family are enjoying life. Suddenly a shark fin is spotted in the water. Panic breaks out because Tanja's niece is still in the water! Superboy manages to save her, but she was injured. Sam Maskoa, a Hawaiian police officer, is on site. He often helps him deal with crimes. He identifies the wound as a claw mark and recounts an encounter with a shark metahuman. Sam thinks he's back and it's for personal reasons. He and Superboy then pay King Shark's mother a visit. They only find his mother, there is no sign of King Shark. Superboy finds a lava tube and enters an underwater cave. There he meets King Shark and a fight ensues. He quickly realizes that water is not his element. Eventually he manages to knock the villain unconscious. King Shark is arrested and imprisoned.
