The popular character Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) made his debut in this issue. Johnny Blaze wanted to save his stepfather from certain death. He invoked Satan and locked a pack with him. His soul against his father's life. Satan tricked Johhny and his father died anyway. Full of anger, Johnny and a friend managed to banish Satan. However, after that night, Johhny Blaze developed a fever and his skull began to burn. He's transformed into the Ghost Rider every night since!
