This week we're introducing Comic: Twig #1! We have the edition in stock with a 9.8 rating (CGC) in the standard variant.
Characters: The main character is Twig, he is a fantasy creature who experiences many adventures in an exciting world. His best friend Splat also plays a central role.
Story:
Twig is awakened by a loud animal scream. He wakes up because he overslept! Today is an important day and it must not come too late. He grabs his little friend Splat, his backpack and runs. On the way to work he has to hear from a number of animals and plants that he is too late. As if he wasn't stressed enough already! He stops at the top of a hill and is almost there. Opposite him is Mount Guphin.
This is the workplace of many inhabitants of his world. Guphin also accuses him of being too late. He opens his mouth and a giant tongue rolls out in Twig's direction! From his little hill he now runs into the mouth of the mountain. When we got there, it was pitch black. "Why aren't there any torches here?" Twig asks annoyed. He tries to find his way, but falls into a hole. Luckily he arrives safely at the end of the tunnel and is spotted by one of the miners. In the stomach of the mountain is a huge mine, which is the workplace of hundreds of creatures. One of the miners escorts Twig to the mine boss in a mine cart. There Twig had his important appointment, for which he was really much too late! The boss is anything but happy that Twig is late, but he gets straight to the point. Twig gets his first assignment! It's about a mysterious red stone that was found years ago in the stomach of the mountain. His task was to find out more about this stone. Twig gets a map that should lead him to a Boy Scout. The boss hopes to learn more about the stone from him. So Twig and Splat begin their journey. You will cross breathtaking landscapes and meet beautiful places. After some time they finally arrive at their destination. It is a small wooden hut, which at first glance looks pretty deserted. After repeated knocking, Twig's suspicion is confirmed: the boy scout is probably not at home. Funny, it wasn't that much too late, was it? Before he could think about what to do next, Splat picks the lock on the cabin. The two adventurers are now searching the whole house for him. The kitchen, like every other room in the Boy Scout's house, looks as if nobody has been there for a long time. Everything is terribly untidy and dirty. Behind a locked door, the two adventurers then find what they had unfortunately already suspected. The Boy Scout was dead on the ground. All that was left of him was his skeleton, which was already infested with plants.
