This week we're introducing you to the Comic: King Spawn #1! We guarantee a condition from NEAR MINT. We have the issue in stock in the Todd McFarlane Cover Variant.
Characters:
The main character is Spawn. Al Simmons, later Spawn, works as a mercenary. On his last assignment he was killed and made a deal with the devil. Back on earth, he has magical powers and ensures law and order.
Story:
Since the beginning of time there has been a war between heaven and hell. Not infrequently, the earth is the battleground for this war, Spawn now wants to change that. He closes the gates of heaven and hell to put an end to this, but not everything goes according to plan...
The output begins in a school class. The teacher asks the children if they know the Bible. A little boy replies: It's like a cartoon with monsters. One of his comrades resolutely replies that there is only love and no monsters in the Bible, then suddenly the whole school explodes! Everyone in the building dies instantly and there's nothing left of the school. Spawn gets wind of it and tries to figure out who might be behind it. His gut feeling doesn't disappoint, the culprit was a shadow player. These are angels and demons imprisoned in the bodies of humans and of all places on earth. Spawn is looking for all these Shadow players to finally put an end to the chaos. After some time, he gets a tip as to who might have been behind the horrible act. His name is Metatron. He had managed to persuade God to turn him into an angel and he was the only one who ever did! So he's very similar to Spawn except that he's serving God. So Spawn makes his way to Metatron. Meanwhile, the angel meanders leisurely through the streets. A homeless man approaches him and asks for his help. Metatron is annoyed by him and rejects him, but the man persists and continues to beg. Now he has had enough and whispers in the beggar's ear. The voice in his head gets louder and louder until the homeless man's head explodes and its pieces are scattered all over the sidewalk. As if nothing had happened, Metatron meanders calmly on. Spawn is now in New York and on his way to the angel's lair. But when he arrives, he doesn't find what he expected: Metatron's innards are stuck to the walls of his hiding place and nothing is left of him! But who could kill such a powerful being? Those responsible are far away from New York, 200 miles north of Brooklyn. It's a group that has only one goal: Spawn must die and have all the suffering and pain he so long deserves!
