Who is the Dark Knight?

There are many terrible villains in Gotham, but one is different from the others: The Joker. He is Batman's nemesis and regularly tries to wreak havoc on his turf. Joker doesn't want money, power or anything like that. He just wants anarchy. Any way is fine for him to achieve this. Joker tells the townsfolk that he will not stop killing civilians until Batman turns himself in. Batman and the police succeed in outwitting and imprisoning the Joker. However, he manages to escape and continues to terrorize the city. Will it ever end?
