Who is Carnage?

Carnage belongs to the race of extraterrestrial organisms. The symbiote is the descendant of Venom and significantly stronger than him. Carnage is also known as the dark version of Venom. As is usual with symbiotes, Carnage bonds with a host and grants them superhuman abilities. The symbiote has had several hosts over the years, the most important being Cletus Kassady. He had sadistic traits and therefore both harmonized particularly well. The two found each other when Eddi Brock or Venom broke out of prison. He left his descendants behind. A cut in the cellmate's hand connected the two and Cletus transformed into Carnage.
